The Supercross Party at Remington's of Beltsville MD, was a huge success. 60+ people braved the weather despite the doom and gloom of snow and icy roads. I’ve had a lot of people send messages saying they were sorry they couldn’t make it due to the bad weather.
Well, guess what?! Yup, we’re going to do it again this coming Saturday night starting at 9pm. Everything will be the same as before, with the addition of 50% off select appetizers to compliment the $2 domestic bottled beer and rail drinks.
We’re also working on a few enhancements for your pleasure!
All in all, I want to thank each one of you who showed up, spread the word and helped in anyway. As long as you guys want a place to watch the race, I’ll do my best to provide you with a great event.
Thanks! -Damian

So last Saturday I joined the guys from Ellicott City Motorsports to watch the Supercross race. Unfortunately both relatively uneventful although maybe it was the atmosphere of trying to watch the race in loud restaurant chain sports bar. Tried to meet people and chat in between races, but it was so spread out, meeting people and having a conversation was difficult at best.
In regards to the race, the track seemed like it had no flow or rhythm. The whoops section wasn’t even worth mentioning. I know they try to ease in the first race with a simpler track to start the season but this track wasn’t up to the level of being called a supercross track IMO. Looking back I didn’t see much in the way of good passing sections either. But it was a track and it had dirt on it so I guess it is what it is right?
So our boys got off to a rough start, Ryan Smith #831, had a get-off and twisted his ankle pretty bad on the second lap of second practice. He might have some torn ligaments, so we’ll see how he’s feeling this weekend. Still He qualified 44th which isn’t bad seeing as how he didn’t really get more than one lap of second practice. I have no doubt he would have made it into the event. (Edit: Just got a text from Ryan, The ankle is "good")
Gared Steinke #726, had a decent qualifying effort that got him into the event. He had worked his way up from a bad gate pick up to the 9th qualifing position for the main, until a late charge from Billy Laninovich #232 & Adam Chatfield #407 sent him to the LCQ with an 11th place finish in Heat 1. Unfortunately the LCQ was packed with some big names and big $$$, along with some other really good privateers like Preston Mull #565. Good thing I know Gared is like the Honey Badger. He doesn’t give a shit. He’s going to throw down either way. The first time I met him, he had just come off the track at Budds Creek and he was pissed off. I liked him right away.
So wish our boys some luck. It’s going to nasty out there!
Well the holiday season is over and chaos is back to normal.
The RoosterFish MX has gotten back to work. Tracks are being verified and added behind the scenes and hopefull most states will be up and running.
Sorry for the delays but we are creating everything from scratch over here which take some time. The good news is once it's all squared away things can roll a lot faster.
I wanna give a shout out to Eric & Sabrina. If not for them I would have gone completely nuts by now. Wait, Maybe I spoke too soon...
Anywho, Root for our boys Ryan Smith #831 & Gared Stienke #726 at:
